Mission

Diversity creates dynamism and resilience. At least, that's how it works in nature, and since we as humans are part of nature, the same applies to us.
No two people are the same, and that's a good thing. Without those differences, the human species would not survive. As a species, we are therefore not only dependent on the biodiversity around us, but also on the diversity within our own human species.

Yet we often find it difficult to see our differences as something valuable, with the result that we close ourselves off to people who are very different from us.
This prevents us from truly listening to each other or putting ourselves in someone else's shoes.
In addition to narrowing our personal perspective, this gives prejudice free rein to push us even further away from others, with all the consequences that entails.
It's a shame, when you realize how much we can learn from each other. Different perspectives provide insights that we desperately need, especially in these turbulent times.

The world is currently facing a number of challenges. Think of climate change, loss of biodiversity, democracies under pressure, etc. There are also challenges on a smaller scale that need to be addressed. In order to come up with solutions in a democratic way, we need each other and therefore also each other's different perspectives.
In order to connect these different perspectives, we look for common ground. These are the universal needs, dreams, feelings, experiences, and issues that connect us. After all, we all come from the same great wonderful mystery.

The projects of Order & Chaos are therefore all about connection through imagination.
Imagination gives us the opportunity to look at ourselves, each other, and the world around us from a different perspective. By giving space to different perspectives in our imagination and then combining them, we can learn from each other's differences and jointly arrive at new insights into how we can restore our balance
with nature, on which we are 100% dependent.
