Order & Chaos

If you look closely at nature, you can clearly see the connection between humans and nature. Take a closer look at the human body and discover how its shapes and structures correspond to all kinds of shapes and structures in the natural world around us.
Sometimes it is necessary to zoom in or out considerably because a particular form or structure can be found on different scales, but much can be seen with the naked eye. Imagine what we could all perceive if we engaged more of our senses.
It all sounds very simple, and it is!
Yet that connection with Mother Nature and the great mystery of life seems far away in our busy daily lives with all their obligations. It's as if we can't afford the luxury of standing still and listening to the birds singing and the wind rushing through the branches. Time simply doesn't allow it...
This is worrying because if we don't maintain that connection with nature, we will eventually lose it, leading us to believe that nature is negligible. Our lives are 100% dependent on nature, so it is important that we restore that connection.
But how can we actually do that? We have just concluded that it is not at all easy to even think about or reflect on this, given our busy daily lives.
That is why I started Order & Chaos, a space where imagination is revived in order to come up with new ideas and insights that the world desperately needs. Different perspectives are given space and are brought together. This allows us to learn from each other, experience our connection with everything that lives, and create something beautiful together!

Diversity and Coherence
We are connected to just about every living creature on earth. The hundred million species of plants, animals, insects, and microbes that live on earth form an amazingly dynamic, intensely interconnected, living layer. A layer that, through complex chemical exchange processes, connects and sustains the atmosphere, the land masses, and the oceans, seas, and rivers. It is no exaggeration to say that diversity is responsible for our ability to breathe air and drink water. And that's not to mention the regeneration of the soil in which we grow our food and the production of the pollinators that fertilize the plants.
Thanks to photosynthesis in all plants, from the trees in the forest to the grass on the prairies and the phytoplankton in the ocean, we have the oxygen we breathe. Meanwhile, all kinds of plants extract carbon from the air, which is essential for a healthy atmosphere. Hidden in the soil lives a huge variety of microorganisms that produce or release nutrients to keep these plants alive, allowing the world to continue to exist. Approximately 80,000 edible plants have been discovered. Nature has provided everything: from food, building materials, and medicines to the fibers in our clothes.
